Don’t you just hate it when you blow your budget? Of course you do….you set a budget for a reason right.
So then why do you find yourself spending more than you want to?
Well, it could be because you were talked into something that cost more. Or, you couldn’t take the time to source something that’s within your price point (BTW, that even includes selecting a restaurant, a new sofa or just about anything that costs money)
But we all know that budgets are meant to be kept. (At least most of the time anyway!)
Here’s how you can keep to your budget in more cases that not:
Take the time to research your options. The more you rush, the more you will jump at the first thing.
- Be selective. You have options you know.
- Get referrals. Sometimes friends and business contacts can save you lots of time.
- Hire someone to help you with the buying decision / purchase.
Take your time to do it right and you will find yourself spending just what you planned.
